The JPEG 2000 core is a high speed hardware implementation. It is fully compatible with ISO/IEC 15444-1 and can be widely used in next-generation digital cinema applications.
The JPEG 2000 IP core supports lossless compression. It is optimized to speed up processing time and is used to support high applications involving real-time encoding. The wavelet engine supports 5/3 filters and the entropy-coding engine supports all key JPEG 2000 standard features.
